are the seats from 2 doors the same as 4 doors so that it would only be a matter of changing the "frames" to get access to the rear seat in a 2d. ?? Or are they so different that it's better to source a couple of good 2 D - seats ?? _________________ Jan-Ivar

2-door seats have latch handles on the side to slide/tilt them for rear access. Depending on age/trim level, 4-door seats may or may not have reclining mechanisms but they're not sufficiently foldable to allow access to the rear seats. I believe the frames are not interchangable, nor would simply swapping the base frame allow you to change 4-door seats into 2-door seats because of the side handles - you'd basically have to rebuild the whole seat. _________________ ...that's why Allegro will look as good 5 years from now as it does today. |

The frames are different, as are the cushion covers. The squab covers are identical however, except for the hole for the tilt/slide latch handle. _________________ Hell has frozen over...... the car formally known as 'Heap' is back on the road! |
