Hi to all in the NW area - as you may know I`ve been put out of action this season so far by illness, however ATM I`m feeling pretty OK, to the point where I put SWK back on the road today - mind you my mechanic Eddie failed it on MOT !!! One number plate lamp, one sidelight and the emissions were all over the place too. ANYHOO, I`m wondering who`s coming to Houghton and how do I get tickets. Houghton is 5 mins away from my house so if I get a bit poorly I can make a quick exit so I`m definitely going even if it`s the only show I make this season!!
If anyone has JMJ`s number please pass it on via PM, I know he`s not an internet fan.
BTW, I made the stupid mistake of changing the brake pads at the last minute - three of the pins came out of the calipers easily, the fourth was of course siezed solid and eventually snapped off. I got the broken pin out but of course I was pinless - but a trip to Albert at the garage across from mine produced a box of 70s brake parts including a shiny new pin! Laughing
Hope to see you all soon and look forward to meeting Alex from Southport
Cheers all
Alan
