| Hi to everyone I met at the 35th birthday bash yesterday. My first ACI event showing a car and what an enjoyable day we had. Wasnt ready for the newspaper and TV interviews but a great experience and something to think back to on the cold winter days. What an impressive array of Allegros and very impressed with there conditions. Enjoyed the museum and many thanks to Theresa and crew for all the cups of tea. Well done to BBC West Midlands for featuring the event on the local news last night to show the Allegro is still around and much loved. Hope to see many of you again at further events and well done ACI for a memorable day. Just to let Wayne know he lost his bet and I did leave the police signs showing all the way home, didnt get stopped but got plenty of looks from motorists and lots of smiles and we made it back safe and sound, hope everyone else did as well. Roll on next years event with plenty more still to come in this one. Lets hope the sun shines. Andrew |

I'll pop on in the post for you.
It might also be worth contacting Teresa Vincent as she is the events organiser for the Midlands area so she may be able to get you into some shows local to you such as Ragley Hall at Alcester, Cars in the Park at Lichfield, Beaumanor House at Loughborough and the Shackerstone Festival but this of course depends on availability of tickets.
As it happens I think I have a spare ticket for the Luton Festival of Transport on the 8th June if you are interested? It depends on how far you want to travel.
Will post the form this week. _________________ Tom

| Hi Tom thanks for offering spare ticket for Luton much appreciated, but I did have a word with Theresa at the show and she is sorting out tickets for me which include Lincoln Castle which is on the same day as Luton. After Birmingham im sure the car would go further without a problem so a jaunt down south may be a possibility especially north of London. I know tickets are short for shows so I will let you know first if I can get down to make sure you have space. Many regards Andrew. P.S. Hope Luton is a successful show for you and the sun shines. |
