Hi,

Have finally welded all the new panels & plates to the right hand side of the racer . . . . only the left hand side to go now yippee! Laughing

But I still have to weld the RH front wing on, it's a used wing which I removed from a donor car. The inside of the wing is now painted Champagne Beige, so I have just got to paint the outside of the inner wing (which I painted with primer today) before I weld the RH outer wing on.

I have made some alterations to the engine, like removing the individual throttle bodies & fitting a single throttle body, this time on the intake side of the supercharger to hopefully prevent the charge air hoses from being blown off.

I have also modified the plate which fits to the free-end of the engine where the timing chain casing used to be, to allow the oil to return to the sump faster so hopefully prevent the shaft seals from 'blowing-out'. The plate in the kit was excactly that, a plate, flat, with no void to allow much oil flow, so I contoured it to open-up a passage-way.

I'll have to buy a new petrol tank because the old tank now resides in the silver VP1500 Rolling Eyes

So, during the next few weeks, I'll have the RH side of the car completed (I'll have to repaint both RH doors to remove the coachlines (so I can re-do them all matching), then I can make a start on the LH side! Very Happy
