Sorry Jonathan Smile

My lads have been asking me about the different marks and models in the Allegro family. I have been able to explain the basic differences but I notice that there is little info on the website.

Is it possible to have a section about each car? A few photos of each variety, interior and exterior, the engines and a "specification" for each model??? Maybe members own cars could be used?

I think this would be good for visitors to the web site looking to find out a bit about our cars.

Any comments?
Cheers,
Graham

Hi Graham,

Back in the mid 90's there was a long running series of articles in Quartic about the history of the Allegro. If I went through my run of back issues and scanned them, would it be possible for Jonathan to put them as PDF's (or something similar) on the web? This would need a page of links creating I guess.

Best,

Jon

I've got a number of back issues of quartic, but I loaned them to a friend about a year ago and haven't seen them since!

There must be stacks of interesting material we could adapt for the website without repeating what's already on other sites. A basic identification guide for S 1/2/3 & specifications would be ideal.

I think the Allegro Club should have at least some information about their own cars!! Smile but thanks for the aronline link anyway Ben. It is a very good web site!

This could start off as something fairly basic, even just "This is a Series 1" "This is a Vanden Plas" photo page and more could be added as time allows. Eventually making the ACI web site THE place to go for definitive information about our cars???

Thanks for the positive responses anyway Smile
