Hi, am looking to renew the clutch release bearing on my 1500 SDL. Has anyone done or had this done on this particular model and if so how long a job was it?? I have a bearing with the markings RHP 3/W 1/2 ENGLAND which arrived in a Unipart packet marked 1xGRB 202. Am wondering if I have the correct part before going ahead.

Thanks if you can help with any info !! Cheers, Guy.

Hi Guy, it's not a massive job. A couple of hours should see it done if everything goes well (bolts don't shear, etc.). It's usual to advise to change the clutch at the same time during this kind of excercise but doing the clutch is a fairly significant amount of extra work so, if your happy with it just do the bearing.
I don't know the bearing numbers but GRB202 is the correct part number.
Good Luck
