Have purchased the slightly crumbly white 1974 1750 SS you may have all seen on eBay and am having her restored over winter. One lady owner from new, 53,000 miles and full history packed into a small leather briefcase, it's a charming car and I'm thrilled
problem is so far I can't find the necessary spare parts
I'll happily post some pictures throughout the rebuild once things have got gritty and pretty. |

| after connecting a new battery the car started first time after 22 years in storage, using old petrol still in the tank. The clutch had stuck a little but freed up after a good shove and the little car took off like a rat up a drainpipe. Failed her MOT on a dodgy windscreen wiper and a leaking brake cylinder - and that's all, incredible. Tight engine and gearbox, solid chassis, just rusty panels. |
