Passing on a message from the Facebook site that members may be interested in.
Channel 5 are working on a show called The Cars That Made Britain......
"It's a light hearted series which will be full of nostalgia as we take a look back on the UK’s greatest and most iconic cars.
"Austin Allegros are obviously a huge part of the motoring history of Britain and we’re looking to speak to a few people who are enthusiastic, passionate owners who wouldn’t mind being interviewed as part of the show. We want to talk to them about the role their beloved car had to play in history.
"We’re very keen on opening a two-way conversation with yourself to get the right people. If it were possible, it’d be great if you could spread the word to a few enthusiastic owners that’d be brilliant – the more the merrier!"

Well, the programme was aired on Friday 14th October and no surprises, the same old c*!p about Allegros was recycled again!
Usual bunch of 'celebrities' and a few ex-TopGear presenters. |
