Guys

Our project car has a leaking passenger hydragas pipe. I have read the other threads on this subject and am wondering how practical it would be to either:

a Make my own with copper pipe, or

b Go independent using a kit such as this:

What do people think?

Hello John,
The kit you refer to will change the characteristics of you suspension as it removes the link between front and rear units.
Liquid Levers advertise replacement pipes which, though not metal, may be appropriate.

Thanks Mike-yes, I spotted those yesterday. Going to take my pipe off and then to a local hydraulic place first to see if I can get one made. If not, i'll buy one of these.

The Metro and MGF community have a fascination with removing the interconnection from their Hydragas systems. Apparently it will improve your lap times on a track day by a fraction of a second Laughing

As the owner of a rather special Austin Metro that was modified to have an interconnected system because the factory didn't think it was worth spending money on interconnection, I know which I prefer Wink
