I bought 3 new tyres recently, two went on the front wheels, one in the boot as the spare.

The other day I noticed that one of the tyres had a misalignment in the tread pattern at one point. This is on a brand new Goodyear Duragrip:

So is this OK or would it cause a problem? It's not out by much.

Opinions welcomed Smile

I wouldn't worry about it, the tyre has a modern tread pattern and it looks like they're all made like this now. At least you have bought a good make. I put Vredesteins on mine as they used an old mould which suits the car. I hope that Michelin ZX will be reproduced for the classic market again.
