Where can I get these mountings from as i have a split one. They look like a cotton reel with a thread on each end.

I'm sure that they're the same as the mounts on A-series engined Metro, motor factors in your area may have listings under Metro if not Allegro.
Also Car Builder Solutions www.carbuildersolutions.co.uk 01580 891309 in Staplehurst Kent sell several types of cotton reel mounts so measure yours (diameter & length) & order a couple from them, they can send you a catalogue which is full of really useful stuff, cheers, Laurence.
