Stupid question, but Merv's just fitted a set of front fogs that I bought from Giz, and typically today (their first day of real need) one of the bulbs blew! My Haynes manual shows how to remove & replace the bulb, & tels me the wattage, but it doesn't mention what kind of bulb it is! Does anyone remember, or should I dismantle the car outside Hellfrauds for a comparison? _________________ ...that's why Allegro will look as good 5 years from now as it does today. |

Are you sure it's a blown bulb?
I've had problems with the reliability of my front fogs, poor earthing I think. I might look at redesigning the earthing as going through the bulbholder doesn't appear to be satisfactory.
All quite silly as I think I've only had to use them twice (thank goodness not more, driving through fog patches 'aint fun) _________________ Hell has frozen over...... the car formally known as 'Heap' is back on the road! |

As they've only been fitted a couple of weeks ago, I'm happy to assume that Merv earthed them adequately. _________________ ...that's why Allegro will look as good 5 years from now as it does today. |
