Exhibit A: Walter's front seats. He's an S1 4-door Super, non-original carpets so put no stock in them. The dash rail was Bronze but it's been swapped for a black one as that's what the Spares Dept. had in stock. I'm just playing with ideas & wondered if anyone knew what this colour was called, and if anyone had any 2, 3, or 4-door parts that matched.

Mike's paintwork spreadsheet is useful but it doesn't mention interior trims anywhere; I remember seeing some scans in another thread that did include this info but I can't find them now either Sad

Your link takes me to the signing in page so I can't see them.

I take it Walter is finished in Glacier White so the seats would be Navy, Ochre or Sorrel if the S1 history I downloaded from old Quartics a while back is anything to go by. Navy is obviously a very dark blue, Ochre is a light yellow brown colour and Sorrel is a chestnut colour. I might be wrong but if I am I'm sure someone will correct me. Do any of my descriptions match your seats Richard?

Bloke from Norfolk. Wink

Sorrel it is. Smile Sorry for the duff link, it seemed right before but I must have cocked something up somewhere.

Sorry Richard, I got lazy and didn't transcribe the whole table. The paint and trim combinations are detailed in the Parts List, pages 1-B10...1-B13.

Mike.

No criticism intended Mike. That's another reason for *me* to stop being lazy & get that bloody CD then. Laughing

I found the scans in the end, but without knowing what they looked like it did me no good anyway; Andrew's descriptions were plenty good enough to solve that issue though.

The good news for you, Richard, is that Sorrell ran more or less from the start of production up to the middle of Allegro 3, only being deleted in 1981 when the Metro-style seats were introduced.

So items like door cards and minor trim panels will be easy to source, as will carpets (although the carpet material changed for the 1977 model year and from the start of series 2 late in 1975, the cutouts in the rear carpet for the front seat mountings were slightly different).

Series 1 rear parcel shelves were larger than those on later cars, and the front seat frames of series 1 are also unique (although later seats and runners can be made to fit a series 1)

Excellent news... I have a cunning plan; I should probably finish one plan before starting another, but it never hurts to think Smile
