Hi,

The black rubber door seals are falling off. What is a good adhesive to stick them back on with?

Thanks Dave

Which bit is coming apart? The seal should be one item, the bit that goes on the lip and the tubular seal itself. Are these too bits separating?

Sorry, I mean the soft rubbery bits that are glued onto the metal around the doors. I guess this makes the doors water tight.

Erm, I'll be honest, I still can't picture what you are referring to - maybe it's just me? I didn't think there were any other seals other than that which clips onto the lip of the door aperture.

I'm pretty sure that there isn't any seal or rubbery bits on the door body, perhaps a previous owner has added these as aftermarket pieces? Do you have any pictures that may help?

Regardless of if they should be there or not, I'd suggest something like double sided automotive trim tape, the sort of stuff used for sticking exterior trim pieces to cars.

Hi,

Giving it a close look, the seal itself has split.

Maybe a new seal then.

Try this if you can`t get a new seal via the club:

One of the first two should be right, the 16mm one looks good to me - I`m in a similar situation due to the new door cards
Cheers
Alan
