Self explanatory really - what grease should be used in the wiper wheel boxes? I think the original stuff was red.

Please let me know if you know!

I asked 'Charlie's' trusty mechanic, aka my dad lol, and he said

"red dosent sound right, some say calcium based or C.L but I prefer standard Castrol L.M or similar medium duty grease"

I knew he would know cos I was sure he has greased Charlie's in the not too distant past. Hope this info helps.

i use wheel bearing grease on the cable and plastic mechnism in the wipermotor. works well.

Thanks guys - I couldn't see any reason why standard LM grease wouldn't be OK, I just thought the original stuff was red. (Or maybe I was thinking of inside the wiper motor?)
