Self explanatory really - what grease should be used in the wiper wheel boxes? I think the original stuff was red.
Please let me know if you know! _________________ Hell has frozen over...... the car formally known as 'Heap' is back on the road! |

I asked 'Charlie's' trusty mechanic, aka my dad lol, and he said
"red dosent sound right, some say calcium based or C.L but I prefer standard Castrol L.M or similar medium duty grease"
I knew he would know cos I was sure he has greased Charlie's in the not too distant past. Hope this info helps. _________________ Owner of Charlie, 1982 Nautilus Blue Series 3, HL. AWARD WINNING, and as seen on TV (East Midlands Today news 3rd Sept) |

Thanks guys - I couldn't see any reason why standard LM grease wouldn't be OK, I just thought the original stuff was red. (Or maybe I was thinking of inside the wiper motor?)
'Tis good, I already have stocks of LM. _________________ Hell has frozen over...... the car formally known as 'Heap' is back on the road! |
