Ideally i need a full exhaust, what condition is the used exhaust in? how long has it been on the car, why did you take it off the car, whereabouts are you and how much are you wanting for the full exhaust? thanks _________________ Owner of Charlie, 1982 Nautilus Blue Series 3, HL. Ive got a brand new complete system in my garage. I bought it for a resto project that never happened. I think its an original factory jobbie too. £30? _________________ 1979 Allegro 1500 S2 special 4 door saloon

There are at least two types of exhaust so make sure it's the right one - an A+ car will have twin down pipes and a ball joint, earlier cars had just one down pipe and no ball joint.
My sister spent 5 hours removing her A+ type exhaust, hopefully it won't you as long as that! _________________ Hell has frozen over...... the car formally known as 'Heap' is back on the road! |

Tim, I've spoken to my dad, Stoke on Trent is going to prove expensive for us to collect it from you, so are you going to the BL rally in Peterborough, I could pick it up from you and pay you there if that suits you. Alternatively, could you possibly enquire about cost of postage / courier to Boston, Lincs and let me know what that would cost, thanks. Also, does the complete system include the downpipes as I don't need those, if so, what would you want for just the main exhaust?
Thanks for the advice Colin, mine is the A+ type with twin downpipes, though the exhaust currently on the car was meant for the earlier type with single downpipe, and my dad altered it to fit. _________________ Owner of Charlie, 1982 Nautilus Blue Series 3, HL. It would cost about £15 to post I think, its a factory once piece exhaust, it doesnt come to bits! No surface rust, its like new.
Its the single downpipe jobbie though, are you still interested?
I may be going to Peterbourough, when is it? _________________ 1979 Allegro 1500 S2 special 4 door saloon

Cool. see you then.
'charlie', my series 3, is currently trying my patience lol, no sooner have i just had the engine completely rebuilt, than the exhaust and downpipes need replacing, of which ive bought the downpipes and you have kindly reserved the exhaust for me. Now he has decided that he needs new front brake discs!!! wont be long before he thinks of something else no doubt lol. _________________ Owner of Charlie, 1982 Nautilus Blue Series 3, HL. Well, maybe thats a good thing. My theory is that if you replace everything eventually you'l end up with a new car! _________________ 1979 Allegro 1500 S2 special 4 door saloon
