Hi ,I am a NEW Member and I was wondering if the North West Monthly Meeting at Mascrat Manor still happens?,,Is anybody else planning on going?

Hello Matt,

The Swan Pub in Knutsford is where we meet, just up the road from Tatton Park show ground, and 2 minutes off the M6 J19. First Friday of every month, so we're due one at the end of this week. I'm going to be at a car auction this Friday so don't think I'll be attending, but I usually make it every other Friday.

Members who attend are the same crew who attend the Tatton park shows in their Allegros (including me), so if you're not going to be able to make it this Friday then your best bet is to come along to Tatton Park for the car show on Sat & Sun 22nd/23rd this month - no doubt you've been before and know what a fantastic turnout of interesting cars (and people!!) there always is. Particulalry in the blazing sunshine, it's my idea of paradise (yeah I know, I need to start LIVING )

Better still- it would be great to up the number of Allegros on the club stand so if you fancy polishing your old girl up a little for everybody to have a poke around at on the show ground then let me know, I'll get in touch with the events co-ordinator and he can post you out an entry pass.

We meet at The Swan pub at 7.30, don't bother having your tea first as the food there is top-notch A chap called Jon Marston-Jones will be there, (well, I'd be very suprised if he's not) he's our NW events man and will be able to sort you out with an exhibitors pass for Tatton Park.
Between him and another gent called Andy Robinson you'll be helped you with all manor of things Allegro; be careful of Andy though, you might just find yourself returning home with two Allegros and an empty wallet hehehe!

Depending on how things go I might jump on the M6 and join you all.

Hi Matt and Alex
I`m going to try to come on Friday, look out for the yellow Allegro with five spoke alloys. The car needs a pre - Tatton run so I`m putting a new battery on tomorrow and it`s the first time I`ve driven a manual car since my op last month so hope all goes well. Look forward to meeting you both
