Hi Guys,
Just a thought, the web site, thought it would be a good idea to have a "technical" section which could contain lots of useful info like the info in RuSSel's thread re his SS.
Alan says...
"BTW Tim, it looks like your car is suffering from "stilt syndrome" - looks like someone has renewed the rear crosstube mountings without reading the instructions on how to do it properly."
The instructions how to do this properly available on the web site would be great.
As well as lots of other stuff, like shimming ball joints, modifying distributors, fixing VP headlining, fault finding etc etc.
It all just seems to be lost in the forum at the moment.
Any views? Webmaster??

You mean a kind of FAQ?
I've tried to organise the forum to make searching for specific queries easier, but I actually think that'd be quite helpful. I haven't got a lot of time to compile the information or create lots of new pages at the moment, but if someone could put together a set of PDFs for me...
Of course it'd have to be on a "follow advice at your own risk" basis! |

Hi Jonathan, yes, sort of
You could have it in sections, similar to the forum and just add "How Tos" as they crop up.
The advantage of having it on the web site proper is that forum non-users can see them and this would help keep Allegros, even those owned by non members, on the road, which has got to be a good thing??
I hope it isn't too much work, hopefully you will just be copying other peoples write ups, like Alan's cure for "stilt syndrome" !!!
Cheers,
