Hi Everyone,
If you click on any of the pictures i have put on here it will take you to my Flickr photos
Just click on the arrows by the smaller pictures ad you can see all the pictures i took of everyones cars and our stand!
I wanted to say WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY,i really enjoyed today,we had such a good turn out of lovely cars and everyone put so much effort in!
A big thankyou to George and Roger for organising everything as they put a lot of time and money making today one of the best shows i have been to.
Also Andy and Lindas little 1300 super 2 door in its flower power glory FANTASTIC!!!
Everyone had a good giggle and we had great weather too
Also thank you so much to everyone who voted my newly restored Equipe,i was really touched,it has been a real struggle with this car to revive it from 16 years of neglect
Also i wanted to say and i am sure everyone will agree that it is was fantastic to see Marrieanne (mervyns lovely wife) out and about and at her first show this year,as most people know she has been through hell and back (say no more)
take care and i for one would love to hear what everyone else thought

we reckon it was a really groovee day!!! We had a great time and keep grinning just thinking about it. Just what old cars should be about - fun and friendship and having a good laugh. We both think Roger and george deserve a massive vote of thanks for bringing it all together and making it happen - Roger reckons its the people who make a show but that goes hand-in-hand with a lot of effort organising behind the scenes.
Well done everyone - its was a great turn out of allegros and a very colourful stand.
As smashie and nicey would say " supertastic , grovemungas , hydragastic mate..........lets rock"
PS. Great pics - will try to add ours when i work out how too!!!! |

Andy,
I totally agree with you,George and Roger are very humble when it comes to compliments about the organisation of the shows,i know for a fact a hell of a lot of money ,time, and organising went into this show especially!,and we probably dont see the half of it!
Of course it helps if we get all the gang turn up with their cars too lol
take care

| I must say all the cars look fantastic and well cared but the amount of work that must have gone on in that equipe restoration Richie to come out looking as good as that leaves me speechless. As for all those flowers stuck on the 2dr, how long did that take????? You can really sense the fun that was had on the day just by looking at those pictures. Wish i could've been there. Well done Roger and George, you deserve a big pat on the back. |

Hi Andrew,
Thankyou mate that is very kind of you to say,in all honesty a lot of money and time and parts have gone into this project, but i feel it is worth it as she deserved to be saved
This car really has been an uphill struggle ,we have had so many problems including the wiring loom which had electrical gremlins but we are gradually getting there
Changing the subject slightly . . . the Bromley show was one of the best shows i have been too,you see us lot from the south thames are complete nutters ,well i am definately i dont know if i should say everyone else is really but we are doing the same again for the rest of the season which will include BL DAY so maybe you can join in too at that show and get your fancy dress costume out lol
take care mate

Thanks for all your kind comments.
Everyone put so much effort into this show from putting a display on the back parcel shelf to making there own costumes to dressing the whole car.
Hope we didn't put the new members Paul & Jane off .
I am still laughing about the day, all the guys at work have seen the pictures & video clips (see they thought i was strange being into the Allegro)
Who knows what we will do next year to make it better you will just have to wait & see _________________ It's always better with the roof down ! It's the crayford's way !! |
