| I disconnected my speedo cable (1.3 A+) from the dash and the gearbox and when i reconnected it, it is flickering, wavering, any advice please on what i've done wrong. It was ok before. |

Hi Andrew
It sounds like the inner may not be pushed into the speedo drive all the way, this causes pressure on the speedo head and causes what you describe. Try disconnecting the gearbox end again and make sure the cable fits all the way in so that the outer cable is sitting flush with the drive without any pushing back. It may be worth your while removing the inner first and coating it liberally with graphite grease. If all else fails I have a complete cable in good condition left over from my SWK project - I had to have a new cable made as I fitted a VP dash
