Hi all,

Is there any way I can find out the colour of my series 2 Allegro from either the chassis, commission or body number? I understand on the series 3's there was a VIN number which had the paint code on it but the series 2's didn't have this.

Hi Michael, I cannot find any reference to a paint code on the VIN plate or anywhere else, as you say, although that surprises me because I'm sure I've seen it somewhere!!
Anyway, Mike Dean has listed all the paint codes here

Thanks for your help, the paint code chart is handy info to have Smile

. I've been told the if you buy a heritage certificate from www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk it tells you the exact colour on there.

The reason I'm trying to find out is I think "MRS P" has been painted Harvest Gold when should be Antique Gold. Does anyone know if Harvest gold was a colour choice on the Series 2's? I know that Antique Gold was introduced for the Series 2.
