I am pleased to announce that we have been granted some space at the NEC again this year, so watch this space for further information
We are of course celebrating 40 years of the Vanden Plas 1500, although I am sure we will find room for one or two Allegros |

It's a bit forward of me, but I'd *love* an excuse to bring Rose over from Belfast |

I will go to the NEC show in November. But I will be flying over from Finland, no chance getting an Allegro roadworthy in time. _________________ 1975 1300 Super 2 door Cosmic blue

We now have our four cars arranged for the NEC: thanks to those of you who put your cars forward but did not get asked to bring them this year, but we will certainly welcome offers next year too.
The NEC theme this year is 'The Big Screen' and although the Allegro never really made it big in the cinema, it has enjoyed plenty of exposure on the smaller screen.
Two of our cars have television CVs, with the remaining space on the stand being filled by a series 1 Vanden Plas (to celebrate 40 years of wood, leather and champagne) and a spotless series 2 1100 deluxe saloon.
As in previous years, we will have a limited number of free tickets allocated to the club, and once we have provided our exhibitors with the ones they need, we will be happy to give the remainder to members who are willing to spend some time (not all day) manning the stand.
I will post here again when I know how many will be available and for which days. |

Tickets arrived on my doormat yesterday morning.
We have:
Unlimited for Thursday (all hands on deck to get set up! )
8 for Friday
10 for Saturday
12 for Sunday
First dibs obviously goes to the people who have their car on display, then what we have left can be shared out among anybody who wants to come and help 'man' the stand (obviously not for the full 8 hours, you will be on a rota system that allows you to look around the show as well )
We also have four car park tickets: these will need to be shared out over the course of the weekend to make sure we get the maximum use from them. I would recommend to anybody who lives relatively local (eg Birmingham, Coventry etc) to use the train to get there: I am told it is relatively cheap compared with the cost of driving to and parking at the NEC!
Please PM me with your requirements, including your address to post them to. |

All requested tickets are winging their way to those who have asked for them.
We still have a few left if anybody wants one. |
