Hi All,

Forum activity has been very spasmodic recently, and I am as guilty as anyone. The website of another club, typically has six or more inputs a day. Some members will not be 'Allegroing' at this time of the year but let's start communicating again, while we wait for the show season to begin.

Merv.

Hello Mervyn - I am still here but not very active! I am assembling parts to refurbish RKB 143T's suspension. I fell in with a pair of NOS front displacers which is a good back up.
Apart from that I have been a bit disloyal, running my eye over Subarus. They seem solid well built cars but it seems they suffer quite hefty depreciation.....that to my mind creates an opportunity for buying a 3 - 4 year old motor. It'll probably come to nothing but its interesting!
Happy New Year, cheers Joe

Sadly, Merv, my guess is that they are all over on Farcebook. Twisted Evil

You'd be guessing wrong. The Facebook page is as dead as it is here, deader in fact. We get some engagement from the public but it's really slackened off over the past few months here, there, and everywhere.

There's another Allegro page called Austin Allegro Appreciation Society that gets a little more action... Still nothing major though.

I am guilty of not posting as much but have been impressed with the activity on the Austin Allegro Appreciation Society Page on Facebook which I discovered earlier in the year.

I will be making a conscious effort to post on here more and help keep things a bit more livelier.

Not long until the start of the show season. All dates will be posted up soon

I'm back!

Not used my Allegro much in recent months, just a few runs to the tip (it is an estate after all!).

However, it needs some work doing to it, and so won't make POL I don't think. I have a bit of play in the front suspension that needs sorting, although the MOT man didn't think it was serious (mind you, I reckon he'll pass anything as long as it's had a wash!).

Looking forward to some better Allegroing in 2014 once the issues are sorted Cool
