Hello all, just thought I'd introduce myself, as I picked up my car last weekend, its a 1979 1.3 SDL in Sandglow (I think that is the correct name) with brown cloth interior. Only 49k miles and in very good condition.
Anyone know how I insert a picture into this message?
First thing I plan to do is get some chrome mirrors, presumably the black ones it has at the moment would have been added at a later date?
Are there any other club members in the Yorkshire area? _________________ Phil

Welcome, Phil. Sounds like a nice car in one of the best colour combinations.
Photos need uploading via a website like photobucket and then copying the link and using the image button when posting something.
It took me a while to get the hang of it but it is quite straightforward once you know. There is a 'sticky' with all the details for posting photos in one section of the forum. _________________ Austin - you can DEPEND on it!

Welcome Phil.
I also have a 1979 Sandglow 1300SDL: bought for beer money nearly 14 years ago with a noisy gearbox and smoky engine.
These days it runs on an MG Metro engine and Metro City gearbox, giving very good performance and laid-back cruising.
