Also on TV (see Club Chat), and a lot of other motoring press avenues are pursuing this too - I think it originated from Honest John's new Classics section, they're claiming responsibility for the "research" such as it is.

The Mail's spin on the story is uniquely theirs; everyone else is much more pro-active, while they've put the usual "does it really matter?" twist on it.
